Orion: Prelude - Technical Artist/Animator (Freelance)


I worked as a freelance technical artist/animator for Spiral Game Studios (now known as Trek Industries) over a period of 7-8 months. I worked closely with the designer and lead programmer to ensure the smooth implementation of art assets as well as the rigging of a wide range of art assets.


Tasks on Orion Prelude included.

  • Rigging of characters, creatures, vehicles and weapons
  • Setup of character art assets in UE3
  • Creation of LOD’s for most assets
  • Shader creation
  • Experimental mobile port of the game
  • Creation of some promotional images for a PAX demo
